The ‘Longshoreman pant’ from Freewheelers & Co is a hard-wearing workwear design from the early 20th-century. Never ones to overlook the finer details, the brand have paid close attention to nuanced design features from the time to make this trouser really stand out. The rise is high on his trouser, and the shape offers a loose/ straight fit which is comfortable and breathable. The soft and supple Indigo Wabash fabric has been expertly woven to be hard wearing and comfortable at the same time. A traditional cinch back has been added with a durable antique buckle, which sits above a pair of rear back pockets, one with a button flap and one without, which are then joined by a smaller utility pocket which is lower down the right leg. They are all framed by the vintage ‘Union Special Overalls’ cotton patch which sits at the centre of the Indigo Wabash lined waistband. Two traditional slip front pockets have the iconic Freewheelers stitch detail at the mouth, and one small watch pocket is included for versatility. Double felled seams help to ensure that this trouser will stand up to a decade of hard wearing and hard work.
