With the 43-697T, Spellbound have created a military fatigue pant which feels ultra modern, but at the same time strangely familiar. Based on the famous military issue OG-107, these chinos have the classic relaxed/comfort cut of the originals. They have two slip pockets on the front and two patch pockets on the back for convenience. There is a little more room given in the thigh and these trousers are cut a little shorter, which makes them extremely breathable and easy to wear. They have been heavily customised around the top block with bands of natural colour which blend effortlessly with the military green and add some unique interest to the chinos. The inside has been adorned with some of the iconography that we might remember as being associated with the Viêt Nam war. More often than not, American G.I’s would decorate their clothing and equipment with images and slogans of piece and harmony, a symbol of rebellion against a war which many at the time believed was not theirs. Pair these chinos with a denim shirt and battered sweat, along with your favourite sneakers for a perfect summer casual look.
