Denime
Denime is a pivotal member of the infamous "Osaka Five", including Warehouse & Co, Full Count, Studio d'artisan and Evisu. Denime is the second of the "Osaka Five" and was founded in 1988 by Yoshiyuki Hayashi. Denime was not actually founded in Osaka, but Kobe. Due to its close geographical proximity Denime was often mentioned in close circles with the Osaka denim scene. Denime offered potentially the closest, most conventional reproduction of the traditional American jean, producing fits and fabrics closer to the original Levis than other brands such as Studio d'artisan who are known for being ever so slightly more experimental.
